Nature in Cooperative Education: NICE
Dingli Agricultural Fair, 07 May 2017

Paragon Europe recently set up a NICE Information Stand at the Dingli Agricultural Fair. The fair was well attended and information about the NICE project, its objectives and outputs was delivered via one-on-one interaction and through the dissemination of a project leaflet.

The NICE project is a 36-month project which started being implemented in September 2014. It is funded through the EU Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the project is to contribute to responsible growth of new generations and to renew the link between individuals and nature at school. Paragon Europe is the Maltese partner in this consortium.

The project aims to make people aware of environmental issues linking each living being with the earth and aims to significantly increase awareness about the relationship between man, nature and well-being among the younger generations.

The project consortium has developed a Bank of Experiences, which is a tool for trainers, teachers and project users, giving tools and means to plan, realise and monitor training paths. A NICE BOOK has also been drafted and this is a compilation of the teachers involved in the project ensuring sustainability of this project.

Anyone interested in accessing more information about the project and/or becoming a NICE Teacher or NICE Farmer while joining a Community of like-minded individuals can do so by registering here: nice.uniupo.it
