Climate-KIC is Europe’s largest public-private innovation partnership focused on climate change, consisting of dynamic companies, the best academic institutions and the public sector.
Climate-KIC connects global and local, small and large partners from the private, public and academic sectors. The split across the three sectors is approximately 50% business, 30% academic and 20% public and not for profit. It operates through 13 centres across Europe and a headquarters in London.
Climate KIC receives funding from academic and private sector partners as well as an annual grant from the European Commission through its European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).

For Public Bodies
Paragon Europe guides Climate-KIC Malta’s consortium based on the knowledge triangle of business, research and higher education, involving Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology and the Malta Life Sciences Park.
Paragon Europe coordinates and develops Climate-KIC’s programmes in Malta in line with the country’s Smart Specialisation Strategy with the goal of contributing to the development and implementation of national policies supporting low-carbon economy.
